If you're really into Christmas, then one of your favorite parts about the season is the music.

Stores and radio stations start playing Christmas music as early as November. Because nothing gets you into the Christmas spirit like listening to classic holiday songs. They make us nostalgic and a lot of them are just plain catchy.

To spread the Christmas spirit CardsChat set out to determine people's all-time favorite Christmas songs in the U.S. and state-by-state.

According to their results, Colorado's top three favorite Christmas songs are:

  1. "All I Want for Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey
  2. "Carol of the Bells" by Mykola Leontovych
  3. "Jingle Bell Rock" by Bobby Helms

Colorado wasn't the only state to have Mariah Carey's classic Christmas tune in their top spot. In fact, "All I Want for Christmas Is You" was ranked number one across all 50 states.

CardsChat analyzed thousands of people's curated Christmas playlists. From there, they were able to identify the top 20 Christmas songs people were listening to on Spotify. Then they used Google Trends to find what songs were searched for the most out of the top 20.
