The Ally Coalition Annual Talent Show is in its seventh year in 2020 and even a pandemic won't keep it from happening.
On Tuesday (December 15), Jack Antonoff announced the lineup for this year's virtual event that will raise money for LGBTQ+ organizations that support homeless LGBTQ+ youth shelters.
“The pandemic has been hard on everyone but the communities that we are supporting here have been hit disproportionately harder. so …. we will see you all in 6 days and raise money for local LGBTQ homeless shelters,” Antonoff wrote on social media. “Obviously we can’t meet in person this year … so … here we go - we’re online and we’re putting something together that will be as special.”
Antonoff's own band, Bleachers, will be performing this year along with Lana Del Rey, The Chicks, Hayley Williams, Maggie Rogers, St. Vincent, Brittany Howard and more. The show will also feature the likes of YouTube superstar Kalen Allen, comedians Aidy Bryant and Mike Birbiglia, celebrity chef Rachael Ray, as well as so many others.
The show will take place on Antonoff's Twitch next Monday (December 21) at 9 pm ET and will be free to watch with a donation link available throughout the show.
The Ally Coalition also has merch available for pre-order including a shirt, a poster, and a signed poster. There is also rare memorabilia up for grabs including guitars signed by Lorde, Lana Del Rey, Ezra Koenig, and more — which you can view here.
