Energetic 'Wheel of Fortune' Player Called 'Greatest Contestant Ever'

On Tuesday (December 15), Wheel of Fortune fans were blown away by an enthusiastic contestant named Diana Hawkins. Even longtime host Pat Sajak was smitten, telling Hawkins: "You look happy to be here...like almost hysterically happy.”

Throughout the show, Hawkins continued to impress Sajak, her fellow contestants, and the show's fans with her infectious energy. She excitedly shouted out her answers, leaving viewers to praise Hawkins on Twitter as the greatest Wheel of Fortune contestant of all time.

Hawkins is a school district data analyst and mother of four. She told Sajak that likes to get in 10,000 steps every day, too. Sajak later joked that he's “never seen anyone burn 10,000 steps standing still" after one of her signature enthusiastic answers.

Hawkins was so popular, Wheel of Fortune even put together a “Best of Diana” highlight reel. The video is posted on YouTube so anybody who missed the episode can enjoy Hawkins' memorable appearance.
