Santa Claus is coming to town with a bag of gifts and this time, it isn't for the children.
Santa is bringing holiday cheer and holiday treats to local animal shelter pets in San Antonio.
According to the San Antonio Humane Society, "Holiday Dinner by the Ranch" is spreading holiday cheer to shelter pets for the fifth year in a row.
The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 16th at the San Antonio Humane Society located at 4804 Fredericksburg Road, reports KSAT. The annual event will feature several shelter pets that are ready to find their forever homes.
According to the organization, every dog and cat at the event will get a delicious, festive holiday feast hosted by Pawnderosa Ranch including pork loin, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, and fruitcake.
The organization said in a statement, "Shelter puppies dress up and unwrap special gifts from Santa himself."
