Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey Weighs In On Fan's Mariah Tree Ornament

Mariah Carey is the undisputed Queen of Christmas — so why wouldn't you want a Mariah ornament on your tree?

One fan shared the Mariah Carey Christmas tree ornament his husband gave him for their annual ornament exchange, and it caught the eye of Mariah herself! The fan, Kyle, wrote along with a picture of the ornament, "My husband and I exchange ornaments every year and this year he got me @MariahCarey which is very festive!"

Carey responded and weighed in on the ornament, writing, "This is... Not approved." But, don't worry, even though she didn't seem to be a fan of the ornament of herself, she did add, "(But it's the thought that counts)."

Many Mariah fans also shared their thoughts on the ornament, and even reached out to Kyle himself after Carey's response. He tweeted, "Lots of mixed emotions to get so many private messages congratulating me on getting completely and utterly wrecked by MC."

Mariah's holiday anthem "All I Want For Christmas Is You," originally released in 1994, recently returned to the Hot 100 chart to take the No. 1 position for several weeks in a row. After learning of the milestone, the pop icon tweeted:

"WOW! I truly wasn't expecting this at all!! Eternally grateful for the enduring success of this song. 'I don't want a lot for Christmas...' just wishing for a bit more JOY and some holiday spirit for all, especially this year. Merry Christmas!"

And celebrating the most wonderful time of the year even further, Mariah helped ring in the holidays with her "Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special" earlier in the month, which featured a performance of her newest Christmas song "Oh Santa!" featuring Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson.
