Spirit Flight From Las Vegas Slid Off Taxiway At Baltimore Airport

A Spirit Airlines flight slid off of the taxiway at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The flight took off from Las Vegas on Thursday.
Flight 696 from Las Vegas arrived at BWI Marshall Airport around 6:00 a.m.
ABC 7 News anchor Lindsey Mastis wrote on Twitter, "No injuries reported. The Spirit Airlines plane flew from Las Vegas to BWI and landed. On its way to the terminal, it went off the taxiway and its front wheel ended up in the mud. Passengers are being helped off the plane and will be transported to the terminal."

Spirit Airlines released a statement about the incident. The statement said that as the plane entered the taxiway, the nose wheel slowly slid into the grass while turning a corner to the gate.
The airline said, "All 111 guests and team members are safe and were transported by bus to the terminal." The guests made it to the terminal by 8:35 a.m.
There were no injuries reported in the incident.
