Florida Is Watching This TV Show The Most During The Pandemic

It's no secret that more and more people are watching TV during the COVID-19 pandemic. Between government-mandated shutdowns, remote work and online learning, streaming and cable have never been more needed.

There are some standout series that emerged this year, from Netflix hits like Tiger King and The Witcher to Disney Plus' The Mandalorian and HBO's I May Destroy You. But which TV show are Americans glued to the most?

CableTV.com may have an answer to that. According to their study, here's the TV show of choice in Florida this year:

Friends! This era-defining sitcom from the 90s continue to entrance people today, especially when people need more comfort and lightheartedness more than ever.

Residents of the Sunshine State weren't alone with this classic choice. Researchers found that Americans in California, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.

In the neighboring state of Alabama, viewers there want to watch Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Other popular shows appeared frequently during the study, including Rick and Morty, Gilmore Girls, The Walking Dead, and This Is Us. Some states even had a tie on their favorite programming!
