California Among U.S. States With The Least Christmas Spirit

It seems that the state of California is expecting coal for Christmas this year. According to a recent study, California is within the top 10 U.S. states with the least Christmas spirit.
GetCenturyLink.com's study concluded that California ranked at No. 44 in terms of states with the most Christmas spirit. The 10 states getting coal this year were:
- New York
- Texas
- Arizona
- California
- Delaware
- Nevada
- Colorado
- New Mexico
- Hawaii
- Florida
According to the study, the 10 states the most Christmas spirit were:
- Utah
- Idaho
- Wisconsin
- North Carolina
- South Carolina
- Tennesse
- Nebraska
- North Dakota
- West Virginia
- Arkansas
To determine which state's had the most Christmas spirit, GetCenturyLink.com analyzed data from six key metrics. They included online activities such as Google searches for Christmas movies and traditions, online shopping for things like wrapping paper and Christmas cards, Christmas music streams, and tweets about Christmas.
They also analyzed the number of Christmas tree farms per capita in each state and the charitable giving in a state's last documented tax year.
