Glittering Lights Hosting Early Fireworks Show For New Year's Eve

A local holiday display is bringing some cheer for the new year.

Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is ringing in the new year with an early fireworks show on New Year's Eve.

Guests are invited to experience a "magical fireworks show" on December 31st at 9 p.m.

The line will begin at 8:30 p.m. for the fireworks show, reports Fox 5 Vegas.

According to organizers, the fireworks will be viewable across the speedway from the comfort of their cars to allow for social distancing and a safe viewing experience.

Glittering Lights intertwines throughout a 2.5-mile course through the speedway. It features more than five million LED lights.

Glittering Lights is open at the Las Vegas Speedway through January 10, 2021 if you're not able to make it out to the fireworks show.

Wait times for the lights show is under 30 minutes during peak times now from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night.
