Three... Two... One... It's almost 2021!
Residents are gearing up for the new year and looking for local celebrations.
On Monday, Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins urged people to stay safe on New Year's Eve to help slow the spread of COVID-19, so if you plan on attending a local celebration, be sure to follow CDC guidelines for safety.
Here are three local New Year's Eve events:
Reunion Tower Fireworks
This fireworks show will take place from the ball atop the Reunion Tower. Only registered guests will be allowed inside of the hotel and streets around the hotel will be closed to the public. The fireworks can be seen from other vantage points in the city as well as on TV. The show will stream in the hour-long Lone Star NYE special on KXAS-TV beginning at 11:30 p.m.
