New Year's Resolutions can be tough to keep, especially during a pandemic.

Depending on what your goal is, like travel or weight loss, it may be difficult to stick to your goals in 2021. The spread of coronavirus has also forced some places to shut down or limit some public spaces on top of financial hardship. While some Americans may not even bother with resolutions this year, you can still try. Your success may be tied to where you live, too.

WalletHub looked at over 180 American cities to see where people are most likely to fulfill their New Year's resolutions. According to the website, two Oregon cities made it on the list: Portland and Salem.

Researchers placed Portland at No. 27, while Salem came in the No. 146 spot. The City of Roses also placed in the Top 15 when it came to "Health Resolutions," including exercise, healthy eating and obesity rates.

Here were the Top 10 cities that keep people on track:

  • Scottsdale, Arizona
  • Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Seattle, Washington
  • Irvine, California
  • San Diego, California
  • Overland Park, Kansas
  • San Francisco, California
  • Fremont, California
  • Raleigh, North Carolina
  • San Jose, California
