Arizona Governor Doug Ducey is being criticized for urging residents to stay at home while his son has been out partying.
Jack Ducey shared videos on Instagram on December 30 that show him eating at a restaurant with friends and then attending a packed dance party where no one was wearing a mask or face covering, the Arizona Republic reported.
The younger Ducey's Instagram account is now private, but the videos have since gone viral and picked up by the governor's critics.
In a conversation with the newspaper, Jack Ducey admitted that he made a mistake but "did not elaborate beyond noting he and his father work in different professions." Jack Ducey works for the artist management company Crescent Room Music and isn't involved in politics.

If @dougducey’s own adult son isn’t following Ducey’s soft advice how can Ducey expect Arizonans to? We need mitigation measures with enforcement now.#DeadOnDucey pic.twitter.com/COpmWXZYRV
The governor's own behavior has also been singled out for not following pandemic-related regulations after he was photographed at a graduation party during the the summer.
Other state and city-level leaders around the country have come under fire for seemingly violating health advice, including the Austin mayor and the Denver mayor.
Arizona has the highest rate of new COVID-19 infections in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
