The Denver Sheriff Department says one of its deputy's tires may have been shot early Monday morning (January 4) by someone in a vehicle "driving aggressively."
The deputy was driving to work at the Denver County Jail when he saw a vehicle driving aggressively near I-70 and Havana Street, according to 9NEWS.
He then heard what we thought to be gunshots. When he exited the highway, the department said he found that both of his rear tires were flat.
Reports of shots fired on I-70 were received by the Denver Police Department (DPD) at about 12:45 A.M. that same day.
DPD said it is currently investigating to see if the deputy's vehicle was struck by the gunfire.
They are asking anyone with more information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or by visiting metrodenvercrimestoppers.com.
