DFW Airport Has 6th-Highest Number of COVID-19 Cases At US Airports

The latest data form the Transportation Security Administration, or TSA, shows which airports have the highest numbers of COVID-19 cases among US airports.
According to TSA's website, the agency has 769 employees with active COVID-19 cases. Cumulatively, TSA had 5,231 federal employees that tested positive. 4,462 of the employees have recovered, and there have been 13 deaths from the virus.
So where does Dallas International Airport fall in relation to other US airports?
According to the study, DFW has the 6th-highest amount of COVID-19 cases.
The airport currently has 178 active COVID-19 cases. 13 of the cases were among non-screening employees. 165 of the cases were among TSA screening officers.
According to TSA, these are the top 15 airports with the highest amounts of COVID-19 cases along with the number of active cases:

- JFK John F. Kennedy International- 220
- ORD Chicago O'Hare International- 219
- EWR Newark Liberty International- 189
- DFW Dallas/ Forth Worth International- 178

- FLL Fort Lauderdale- Hollywood International- 144
- MCO Orlando International- 135
- LAS McCarran International/ Las Vegas- 125
- PHX Phoenix Sky Harbor International- 119
