A county judge in southeastern Texas in fuming because a young woman knowingly went to Cody Johnson concert in San Antonio despite testing positive for COVID-19.

Val Verde County Judge Lewis Owens mentioned the woman in a Facebook video when discussing the growing number of coronavirus cases in the area. Owens didn't name the woman but said she traveled from Del Rio to San Antonio and back for the country music show. Del Rio is roughly 150 miles west of San Antonio.

"This is her second time in quarantine because she put a lot of people in danger. She went to a Cody Johnson concert on Friday so from here to San Antonio, where ever she stopped ... she put all those people in danger," Owens said.

The judge said he knew the woman attended the show because she posted videos on Snapchat.

"You had the nerve, the audacity to lie to contract tracers," said Owens.

The woman was cited and the judge said he will release her name in the future to make an example of her.

Cowboys Dancehall has come under fire for hosting two Cody Johnson shows last week. The venue is at risk of being shut down by the city of San Antonio after it received seven citations since March for violating COVID-19 restrictions.
