A specific neighborhood in Denver is "where the cool crowd is," according to Travel + Leisure.

The travel website compiled a list of the best 50 places to travel in 2021, including Denver high up on the list.

When it's safe to travel again, the website recommends checking out Denver's Lower Highlands.

LoHi is known for its popular restaurants and bars, boutiques, wine shops, and bookstores. There is always something to do, which is why Travel + Leisure listed it as the 13th best place to travel this year.

The website namechecks spots like Señor Bear, Ash'Kara, Fifth String, and Room for Milly.

In addition to its cult restaurants, creative cocktails, and craft breweries, the area is a special blend of old and modern architecture is always what appeals to tourists.

The recent addition of 17-room Life House Lower Highlands finally gives visitors an option beyond Airbnb if they want to be immersed in the LoFi [sic] action," says the website in their blurb on LoHi. "Located in the heart of the Navajo Street Art District, the intimate stay transports guests to a Victorian-era pioneer homestead — but, y’know, cool —with furnishings upholstered in dusty florals, Wild West nods like cowhide detailing and vintage cowboy photos, and a sexy, saloon-inspired restaurant and bar."
