Breaking news happens weekly on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown

Recently Dierks Bentley dropped some big news on Cody Alan that Cody might not have been ready for.

Dierks’ daughters might be coming for Cody’s job as an on-air radio DJ. Ahead of "National Disc Jockey Day," the “Gone” singer shared with Cody that his little ones Evie and Jordan have a radio show broadcast on a community radio station in Colorado called "The Evie Day and JJ Show."

“KOTO,” says Dierks.

“Big 8900 watts. It’s really blasting! It’s a powerhouse, buddy,” Dierks jokes. “They have a show on there every other Friday, and I was helping them put together a script, and I have to tell you. I have so much respect for what you guys do. What you guys do is so much work, even just do to an hour and a half every other week. It took me 2 or 3 hours of prep!”

While Dierks tries to squeeze in a few songs on his daughter’s show for additional radio airplay, you can catch Dierks’ music on the air with Cody Alan nightly.

Watch the video below to see what else Dierks digs up to share with Cody. Stay up to date with breaking country news by watching CMT Hot 20 this weekend, airing Saturday & Sunday at 9a/8c on CMT.
