Internet Outage Causes Issues with Verizon, Zoom, Slack, Gmail

Ah yes, a wildly convenient situation to happen while most of the country is working from home. *eyeroll emoji*
Many in the Northeast have been experiencing the effects of a widespread Verizon outage, which has impacted the usage of Google, Zoom, YouTube, Slack, Amazon Web Services and other services according to the Washington Post. And they were not the only ones feeling the impact. Many local school districts were also experiencing troubles with their online programs necessarily for students to go on with their everyday at-home learning.
Prince William County Public Schools shared via a tweet that they were aware of the issue.
A direct source to the issue has yet to be detected.
PWCS is aware of internet connection problems with Verizon FIOS impacting students and staff. Updates will be provided when available.
