The FBI released more information about two pipe bombs that were discovered near the Republican and Democratic party headquarters on January 6, when a mob of Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol Building. Investigators have yet to identify the suspect and have offered a $100,000 reward for information that leads to their arrest.

The agency released new photos of the suspect, who was wearing a grey hoodie and facemask. They said he was also wearing a pair of Nike Air Max Speed Turf shoes in yellow, black, and gray. The FBI said that the bombs were planted the night before between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET.

The bombs were made from eight-inch galvanized steel pipes and were filled with explosive powder. They were rigged to explode with egg timers. Officials are trying to determine why they did not detonate. According to CNN, investigators believe the timers may not have been set properly, or the bomber may not have properly connected the batteries. They are also considering the possibility that the bombs were meant as a diversion to pull law enforcement resources away from the Capitol during the riots.

The bomb near the Republican party's headquarters was found by a 36-year-old woman who was walking home after doing a load of laundry, and the second bomb was discovered about 30 minutes later.
