Like so many other parents, Kate Middleton has been quite busy helping her three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—with their homeschooling during the pandemic. During a recent virtual engagement, the Duchess of Cambridge spoke with a group of fellow parents about their own personal experiences with pandemic homeschooling. Kate even shared some candid thoughts on all the extra work she's taken on at home.

When asked which subject she struggles with the most while tutoring her kids, 5, Kate said she would rate her math skills at "—5" on a scale from one to ten. "I'm obviously right at the bottom!" she joked.

Melissa Loosemore, the headteacher of Roe Green Junior School in London, asked all the parents to write down one word that best describes what parenting has really been like during the pandemic. Kate's word was highly relatable—she chose "exhausting."

"As parents, we have day-to-day elements of being a parent, but, I suppose, during lockdown we've had to take on additional roles that others in our community and lives would have helped us with," Kate explained further. "I have become a hairdresser in lockdown—much to my children's horror!" she shared.

Kate also took time to praise her husband, Prince William, who she says has been the "biggest support" to her during the pandemic.
