Ty Dolla $ign is bringing the heat with a remix of his 2020 track with Post Malone, “Spicy.”
On Friday (January 29), the "Hit Different" artist dropped the "Spicy" remix, which now features YG, Tyga, and J Balvin. (Post Malone's verse remains on the remix.)
The original version of “Spicy” appears on Ty's most recent album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, which was released in October. The collab-heavy LP featured more than just a few of Ty's famous friends. For the 25-track project, Ty tapped Kanye West, Anderson .Paak, Kid Cudi, Roddy Ricch, Jhené Aiko, Kehlani, FKA Twigs, Big Sean, Future, Nicki Minaj, Burna Boy, Quavo, and more.
"This album is an advancement of all of my previous projects," Ty told iHeart back in October, noting that while Featuring Ty Dolla $ign is still 100% Ty Dolla $ign, the project is in a lane of its own when compared to his past discography. Ty also described the LP as a solidifying final piece for his title as the "King of collaboration."
"I locked in on the title Featuring Ty Dolla $ign for this album because that's what my fans wanted," he shared when asked how he came up with the album name. "That's what team Dolla wanted. I know that they enjoy all of my Ty Dolla $ign features. So, I thought who better to get for the album. So I feature Ty Dolla $ign on my album."
