Save your shamrocks until next year because Dallas St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival down Greenville Avenue is canceled for 2021.

Mark Cuban, Mavericks owner and parade supporter, broke the bad news on Sunday.

The parade "is going to be canceled for obvious reasons, but I am excited to say that in 2022, we will be back in style, and bigger and badder than ever. So get your floats ready, your green beer ready because it is on in 15 months," Cuban said in a Facebook video.

Cuban is the event's unofficial spokesperson after he "saved" the parade by stepping in when the main sponsor pulled out in 2012. He's been donating $50,000 to the parade each year since then.

The St. Paddy's Day Dash is still scheduled to go on as planned on March 13. Organizers are also hosting a virtual 5K for those who still want to participate but not attend an in-person event.
