Here's Where Ohio Ranks Among The Best And Worst States For Singles

Since Valentine’s Day is coming up fast, many people might be scrambling to find a last-minute date.
But some might have better luck than others depending on where they live.
WalletHub, a personal finance site, ranked the best and worst states for singles in 2021.
“Everyone has different priorities when searching for love, but certain places simply make dating easier than others,” WalletHub explained. “That’s especially true during the COVID-19 pandemic, as certain states are more impacted than others, though virtual dates have risen in popularity as a safer alternative to going out in person.”
WalletHub analyzed each state based on 27 “key indicators of dating-friendliness,” including the share of single adults in the area, online-dating opportunities, COVID-19 restrictions and more.
So, where does Ohio fall on that list?
Ohio cracks the top 10, coming in at No. 8.
It’s also worth noting that in a separate report, WalletHub compared more than 180 cities and ranked five in Ohio on a list of best and worst cities for singles.
