Milwaukee Co. Zoo: How To Send Your 'Significant Otter' A Virtual Valentine

By Kelly Fisher

February 4, 2021

You might not be able to wrap your loved ones in a "bear hug" during the pandemic, but the Milwaukee County Zoo is making sure your “significant otter” doesn’t go unappreciated this Valentine’s Day.

Animal lovers can send unique Virtual Valentines messages featuring one of many zoo animals.

“Listen as one of our zookeepers delivers your personalized message alongside a sloth, seal or other adorable animal,” the Milwaukee County Zoo states. “It’s a perfect way to show someone special in your life how much you care!”

“In your video, you will have your featured animal joined by an animal care staff member who will share your message,” the Zoo continues. “The animal care staff will introduce themselves and the animal, share your message, and add a fun fact or two to complete the message.”

Make it happen by filling out a form with the message you’re sending and zookeepers will record a 30-second video with an animal. You’ll get a link to a downloadable video by February 13, and will have two weeks to download it.

Each Virtual Valentine is $25, but for another $5, the message can be sent anonymously on February 14.

Orders are due by February 10.
