The Weeknd looks back on his greatest hits on a new career-spanning album.

On Friday (February 5), the Grammy-winning recording artist unveiled The Highlights, an 18-track project that compiles The Weeknd’s most popular records on a single disc.

The compilation LP assembles a variety of hits from each of the 30-year-old’s music eras, including one from My Dear Melancholy, three from Starboy, five from Beauty Behind the Madness, and five from his latest full-length, 2020’s After Hours.

Additionally, The Highlights also comes with fan-favorite tracks from The Weeknd’s side projects, including “Pray for Me” from the Black Panther soundtrack and Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder.”

“I Feel It Coming,” “Heartless,” “The Hills,” and “Earned It,” from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, are among the selected records to appear on The Weeknd’s latest project.

The Highlights comes days ahead of The Weeknd’s hotly-anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show, airing this Sunday (February 7).

During a recent press conference ahead of the performance, the Canadian musician — who’s taken on a graphic and gory aesthetic with his After Hours era — assured that he aims to “be respectful” and will “try my best” to make the 10-minute presentation as family-friendly as possible.

With the upcoming sports gig, The Weeknd has joined a long line of iconic musicians to rock the Super Bowl stage before him. Among them is Diana Ross, whose 1996 Super Bowl performance The Weeknd credits as his favorite of all time.
