Aaron Rodgers Reveals He's Engaged Amid Shailene Woodley Dating Rumors

Aaron Rodgers is reportedly engaged to Shailene Woodley, according to multiple reports.

According to Us Weekly, speculations about the rumored couple’s alleged engagement came on the heels of an MVP acceptance speech the Green Bay Packers quarterback delivered at the NFL Honors awards on Saturday (February 6), during which he casually thanked a mystery woman he called “my fiancée.”

"2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change, growth, some amazing, memorable moments, 180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season," said Rodgers, 37. "I got engaged and I played some of the best football in my career. So I’d like to thank, first and foremost, my teammates for their support, their inspiration, protection, incredible play on the field.”

At one point during his speech, while listing people he’d like to thank who are “off the field,” Rodgers slips in that he’d like to thank “my fiancée.” (Watch at the 1:15 mark, below.)

Although Rodgers didn’t mention the 29-year-old actress by name, outlets like TMZ report the pair became an item following Rodgers’ split with Danica Patrick. In the past, the football star has also been romantically linked to Olivia Munn.

For Woodley’s part, the Divergent actress had previously dated Australian-Fijian rugby union player Ben Volavola from 2018 before they broke up in April 2020.

As yet, neither Rodgers nor Woodley have confirmed their romance.
