A new business in Denver is combining two things many people use to wind down: beer and the spa.
As COVID-19 restrictions in Colorado ease up, The Beer Spa by Snug is launching in Denver's Five Points neighborhood.
While customers won't actually be soaking in beer, the spa does infuse their water with hops and barley so they can enjoy their benefits without getting sticky and smelly.
The co-founder Jessica French spoke with Denver7 about the unique concept.
"I mean first off, just beer and spa together sound really wonderful to me. I love both of those things," she said.
When guests walk into the spa they are greeted by a wall of beer taps. Then they can go into a beer therapy room where they can enjoy their beer while sitting in a hot tub with the infused water.
The other founder Damien Zouaoui and French first discovered the beer spa while traveling abroad. With Denver's craft beer scene, they decided this would be the perfect spot for their business.
Each month they will partner with a different brewery in Colorado featuring six rotating taps of local beer. They will also serve Stem Ciders from Denver and wine from Infinite Monkey Theorem.
