Could things in Nevada soon be returning to normal?
Governor Steve Sisolak announced his "safe reopening plan" on Thursday afternoon to reopen the state, reported 8 News Now. This comes as COVID-19 cases across the state continue to decrease.
The plan will start on Monday, February 15th with lifted capacity limits to 35 percent or 50 percent, depending on the type of business or activity. This is determined by the risk level of each.
Gatherings will be limited to 100 individuals or 35 percent, whichever is less, with very strict social distancing guidelines. Plans for large gatherings may be submitted, but no approvals for the large gatherings will be made until March 1st.

The plan will go into a second phase one month later on March 15th. This will ensure that almost all businesses and activities will be allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity. In addition, gatherings will be limited to no more than 250 individuals, or 50 percent of fire code, whichever is less.
The final phase of the safe reopening plan will begin on May 1st. Governor Sisolak said that he is hopeful that everything will stay on the current course so that the power to lift COVID-19 safety regulations can transition to local authority.
