Despite being unable to attend their royal engagements in-person due to the ongoing pandemic, Kate Middleton and Prince William have managed to stay busy during lockdown thanks to video chatting. On Wednesday (February 10), connected with nursing students throughout the U.K. over Zoom from their home.

Following the Zoom call, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared photos and videos from the chat to their official Instagram account. Eagle-eyed followers noticed a never-before-seen photo of the couple's three childrenPrince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis—on display in the background.

The photo, which can be seen sitting on the shelf behind Cambridges in the right corner, appears to have been taken during Prince George's seventh birthday photo shoot in July 2020. This would mean Kate is the one who captured the adorable shot.

Kate and William have been candid about their own personal challenges they've faced homeschooling George, Charlotte, and Louis amid the pandemic. In many of their royal engagements, they've highlighted frontline workers dedicated to bringing the pandemic to an end.

"For nursing students across the UK, studying and undertaking placements during the pandemic has been a challenge like no other," the caption for their call with nursing students reads. They spoke with one student named Abigail, who told The Duke and Duchess about "some of the challenges she had faced, including the emotional impact of patients being unable to receive visits from their families. She also spoke about her experience of starting university during a pandemic, and the impact that COVID-19 has had on her ability to socialize and learn with fellow students in person due to lockdown restrictions and a subsequent increase in online learning."
