We express love in many ways. Sometimes, people buy gifts for their significant other. Other times, showing your love manifests as dates at expensive restaurants or free strolls through a city.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some of these activities may not be options, but there are other ways to celebrate Valentine's Day. If you're wondering which American cities are great for both romance and spending, WalletHub has you covered.
The personal finance website compared 100 cities and looked at factors like the number of florists, takeout food, activities and more.
Six Florida cities made it on the list, and one of them even broke into the Top 10. That honor goes to Orlando, which came in the No. 9 spot overall. Orlando also got kudos from researchers for having the most jewelry stores and florists per capita!
Here's where the other five cities placed in the rankings:
- Tampa (No. 24)
- Jacksonville (No. 44)
- St. Petersburg (No. 56)
- Miami (No. 94)
- Hialeah (No. 98)
