This Bakery Is Being Hailed As Having The Best Doughnuts In Kentucky

Doughnuts are a delicious temptation that you just can't get enough of, and there are plenty of places to get the classic treat. Some places are better than others.

One bakery is being hailed as having the best doughnuts in all of Kentucky.

Nord's Bakery in Louisville was included in Food and Wine Magazine's "The Best Doughnuts in Every State" list.

The website explains a bit about Mike Nord's past and how he grew up admiring the cakes and cookies at Klein's Bakery. When the owners retired almost a decade ago, Nord and his wife bought the place.

Nord's new bakery is usually flocked with people trying to get some of the best doughnuts around, and the bakery doesn't disappoint. The menu boasts classic pastries, specialty pastries, and a plethora of delicious doughnuts.

Food and Wine's website states, "Nord's decidedly new-fashioned bacon maple long john was at one point their best seller and might still be. Light but dangerous Holland Creams, stuffed with fluffy buttercream and then frosted for good measure, are awfully repeatable."
