There was a mysterious strand of lights spotted in the sky over Utah early on Friday morning, reported ABC 4.
But, with a line of storms rolling in were residents really seeing something, or was it just an illusion created by the clouds?
One Utah resident, Jennifer Campbell, stated, "Early in the morning, I saw them flying in a straight line, there was a fleet of them flying over the mountains."
But, were the lights from aliens? No.
ABC 4's meteorologist Adam Carroll said that he couldn't say for sure whether or not the incident was caused by cloud cover. He stated, "There was a lot of cloud cover with the approaching storm. We should call the Air Force first."
ABC 4 called Hill Air Force Base's 388th Fighter Wing to ask if they had been flying their high tech jets, but they said they weren't. A spokesperson said, "We were not flying this morning; maybe it was the Starlink Satellites?"
The Starlink Satellites are one of Elon Musk's latest tech adventures in providing internet service around the earth. And, according to a website that is recommended by SpaceX for tracking the satellites, they were right over parts of the western United States this morning. The website said that they could be seen shining "bright" for approximately two minutes.

So, the mystery was solved and it's not aliens this time.
