Residents will soon see a little more activity on the Las Vegas Strip as entertainment options slowly make their return, reported 8 News Now.
COVID-19 capacity restrictions are loosening, meaning that some shows and nightlife options will be able to make their return.
According to experts, this is a great sign for the city, especially as the closures have brought on major negative economical impacts.
After being closed for almost a whole year, Las Vegas comedian and entertainer Carrot Top is one of those entertainers returning, but with a smaller crowd. He said, "I'm going to have more jokes than people."
The updated restrictions cap gatherings at 100 people, or 35%, whichever is lower.
Despite the smaller audiences, entertainers are excited and eager to get back to work. Carrot Top said, "Being on stage is what we feed off of. The energy the crowd gives you- I leave with the same kind of high that the audience leaves with every night."
