I didn't get to address this the day it happened. I listened to Russ Martin a lot when I was younger and after highschool. I used to repeat the jokes at work like I thought of them myself. #RIPRussMartin Thank you for all the good times. https://t.co/frsHL6X7u0

I'm a relatively new listener, just a over a year now, and Russ was in and out of the show when I started but I loved it when he was there. He was so funny and a truly great man! RIP Russ you were already missed on the show but now you will forever be missed in life!

Salute sir, you were an icon in DFW radio but a special thank you for your work to help the families of our fallen brothers and sisters. The thin blue line is forever grateful. 💔🚔🇺🇸

The world is a better place because of Russ Martin. He always tried to act like he wasn't a great person. But deep down he had a huge heart, that people could see through the radio. His legacy will live forever with the RMS foundation. Thank you Russ

Russ, I suppose you are up there somewhere making fun of ole bird eye or whatever it was you called him. No one has ever made me laugh as hard as you did. Although you could be quiet the "ass" at least you were a funny ass. You will be missed my friend.

When Gov Rick Perry called in and Russ offered his idea of immigration control ... piranhas in the Rio Grande. The silence from Rick Perry and finally the hang up.

Or anytime a listener would call in to argue with Russ and try to talk over Russ ... pure magic.
Damn. I used to listen to Russ back in highschool. RIP and thank you for all the laughs. Lost but not forgotten. https://t.co/ZsqidH9pVN

RM's charity helps police families when their loved one falls in the line of duty; which, unless they have a life insurance policy, is often nothing. Please think about donating to his foundation.

#RIPRussMartin - you were always full of laughs even when you didn't feel like being funny and will be missed as a mainstay of normalcy in a very weird world.

You'll be sorely missed.
I've been a listener for over a decade, back when the show was on in the mornings. It's like losing a friend.

Russ is in my heart and prayers, and the same for many people I know. My deepest condolences, rest in peace and thank you for entertaining us all these years.
😢🙏❤️
Russ is a diabolical genius. His radio voice sounds like a humorless football coach, then he starts talking about phalluses and time travel movies. I just Googled "plural of phallus". Russ was honest. Crazy honest. After we mourn, we should debate Minority Report vs. Time Cop. pic.twitter.com/7Qj3ALgXQC
