An Austin-based rental company celebrated its 10th year in business by giving away two free weddings.

For the last four years, Loot Rentals has hosted free weddings as part of its "Free Love" pop-up event. Loot and its vendors set up the venue and provide food, drinks, entertainment, and photography for the lucky couples.

This year Loot did things a little different because of the pandemic. The company decided to give the free weddings to frontline workers.

The lucky couples included KXAN reporter Erin Cargile and her fiance Assistant News Director of CBS Austin Sig Rydquist, and two occupational therapists who turned their office into a recovery space for COVID-19 patients.

The weddings were originally planned for Valentines Day, but they had to be rescheduled until February 28 because of winter storms.

"It was worth the wait," Loot Rentals wrote on Instagram.
