Court documents said the victim lunged on the hood of the car to get her cell phone back from Giese. The victim reportedly got off the hood, walked to the driver's side of the car and went back to the front of the vehicle. Giese allegedly accelerated and one of the rear tires ran over the lower body of the victim, according to investigators.
Officials said the victim's head hit the asphalt. Investigators claim Giese drove away but came back to inspect the victim. A witness reportedly called 911.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition, according to authorities. They said she suffered a skull fracture, broken tibia, fibia, humerus, and liver laceration.
Giese's bail is set at $1,000.
