Indianapolis is currently home to the world's largest NCAA March Madness bracket.
The giant bracket is 190-feet tall and can be seen on the downtown JW Marriott building. It's printed in 800 different sections and required 10 people to install.
The Marriott had a similar bracket on its building when the city hosted the Final Four in 2015. The 2015 bracket holds the Guinness World Record for the largest bracket, but the man who created it says the 2021 bracket is 15 to 20 feet taller.
Frank Hancock told the Indy Star that he added the words "Indiana. Where Champions Are Crowned” at the top to make the bracket slightly taller than the previous one.
Hancock said he wanted to make this year's bracket more interactive, too.
“We’re going up the next day after games are played and put up the winners, so it’s going to be an actual living, breathing bracket as opposed to five years ago where we just changed it after the weekend games are played,” Hancock told WISH TV.
The winning team's logo will also be added to the Marriott this year.
47,000 square feet. 😱
