Cardinals fans all across the state are celebrating the signing of free agent J.J. Watt. One local restaurant is going above and beyond to welcome him to the team, reported AZ Family.

Chase's Diner in Chandler is now offering a delicious creation that highlights Watt's Wisconsin roots.

Co-owner of the diner, Jen Chase, said, "You got to support the hometown team."

As soon as Watt signed onto the hometown team, Chase got to work creating the specialty sandwich.

"I'm so excited," said Chase.

The new sandwich has three pieces of sourdough bread and four different types of cheeses that pay homage to Watt's home state that's famous for its cheeses.

The sandwich even has a fun name. It's called the "The Watt-a-Sandwich."

"Add some tomatoes, some center-cut hardwood smoked bacon and then three deep-fried beer-battered cheese sticks," Chase explained.

The monster sandwich is served with a side for $15.

Chase said, "An exciting sandwich for an exciting time for Arizona sports fans."

Chase says she hopes Watt is the key to a super bowl for the Cardinals. "I'm hoping J.J. Watt does the trick for us this year. You know I haven't seen a Super Bowl. Hopefully we can put an end to that pretty soon here."
