Man Dressed As Walmart Employee Allegedly Stole Almost $3K Worth Of AirPods

Law enforcement officials released photos of a man accused of using a disguise as a Walmart employee to smuggle almost $3,000 in electronics from the Georgia superstore.

The man apparently donned a blue vest to look like an employee, and opened the locked case of Apple products to to take 15 pairs of AirPods, according to an WRDW report. The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said the stolen AirPods are worth $2,815.

It happened at the Walmart location on Washington Road.
