A new food truck in Denver is serving the dog population in Colorado.

Bone Apétreat owner Tiffany Brown moved to the area and started Denver's first dog treat food truck during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I have always loved animals, and they have always seemed to be drawn to me as well," Brown told Out There Colorado. "After several months of planning, designing, securing a loan, and building my business plan, Bone Apétreat launched in January."

Inside the turquoise Bone Apétreat truck are bagged treats shaped like hotdogs, burgers, footballs, tacos. Several even have punny names like "pawp corn" and "Pawno Noir" which is shaped like a wine bottle.

Brown also sells Colorado-made dog bones by the bag.

When you and your dog make a purchase from the food truck, they offer complimentary "pup cups" filled with frozen whipped cream.

"While working from home during COVID-19, I thought it would be a great idea to start a food truck that not only caters to dogs with treats and toys but also provides people with a much-needed break during their day with a walk," Brown told The Know.

Brown and her Bone Apétreat truck can be found in Cherry Creek, Littleton, Highlands, Bruz Beers in Denver, and other neighborhoods throughout the month.
