Houston Rapper Found Fatally Shot In Atlanta

Local law enforcement officials responded to a fatal shooting on a Georgia interstate early Friday morning (March 5).
Chucky Trill, a rapper hailing from Houston whose real name is Corey Detiege, died in the shooting, his manager confirmed to the Houston Chronicle.
The incident marks the fourth deadly interstate shooting this year, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Police responded to the scene around 3 a.m., on Interstate 85 South near the Jimmy Carter Boulevard exit, according to a press release from Gwinnett County Police.
Authorities transported Detiege to a local hospital, where he died, according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.
Here’s what officers know so far:
“Detectives responded to the scene and began speaking with witnesses. There is currently no description of the suspect vehicle. Investigators believe that there may be witnesses to either the shooting or the events that leading up to the shooting. Detectives are asking those people to come forward and contact the police department with any information that they have…The motive for this shooting is still being investigated.”
