In 1979, Kate Bush gifted audiences with a beautiful performance of The Beatles' classic single, "Let It Be."
Performing alongside Peter Gabriel and Steve Harley, the British singer-songwriter delivered a powerful performance during the Bill Duffield Benefit Concert, which was held in honor of Kate's late lighting director, who had passed away weeks prior.
"Tonight is for Bill, Bill Duffield," Kate is heard telling the audience in a resurfaced audio clip. "I want you all to give a big cheer to BIll. This song is for him." Kate then proceeds to sing the first verse, belting, "When I find myself in times of trouble/Mother Mary comes to me/ Speaking words of wisdom, let it be/ And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me/ Speaking words of wisdom, let it be."
