Two years after Cardi B beat Mac Miller—who was nominated posthumously—for best rap album at the Grammys, the 'Up' rapper is calling out social media trolls who cyberbullied Mac in the months leading up to his tragic passing.

Cardi's decision to speak out about Mac came as a result of a Twitter user criticizing the Recording Academy for inviting Miller's family to the 2019 Grammy Awards. Though the original tweet that Cardi responded to has been deleted, it appears the Twitter user was upset Mac's grieving family was invited to the ceremony only to see his album Swimming lose out to Cardi's Invasion of Privacy.

In her response to the tweet, Cardi attached a screenshot from an article with the headline 'Mac Miller's Family Is Rooting For Cardi B If He Doesn't Win At The Grammys.' Alongside the screenshot, Cardi wrote: "His family didn’t have no mean energy so why you? I hate when ya make hate tweets like this to go viral but where was the love when ya bullied him for months on this app & he was crying out for help? Makin fun of him when he crash his car? Ya don’t care till somebody is gone."

"This is why I express myself whether is on live, twitter or curse people out cause some artist got soo much hurt inside from bullyin on these apps & they afraid to speak & turn to other thing to numb the pain," she continued. "Ya forgot real quick how when he drop the album ya was like 'flop.'"

Following her win at the 2019 Grammys, Cardi even dedicated her award to Mac and said she was "sharing this Grammy with you, motherf---er! Rest in peace!"
