On Sunday (March 14), Harry Styles kicked off the 2021 Grammy Awards with a performance of his hit song 'Watermelon Sugar' off his Grammy-nominated album Fine Line. This is the first time Harry has ever performed at the Grammys.
In true Harry fashion, his outfit was as memorable as his performance. The pop superstar rocked a leather suit sans shirt with a green boa as an accessory. Following his performance, host Trevor Noah joked with Harry that he thought the singer "would've worn a shirt for his first Grammys."

Despite the ongoing global pandemic, 2020 was a game-changing year for Harry. Like many artists, the 26-year-old pop star faced some inevitable career setbacks in 2020, such as having to cancel his highly anticipated world tour. Despite the unprecedented circumstances of the past year, Harry saw his album Fine Line go multi-platform, got his first Billboard Hot 100 no. single and was named Variety's Hitmaker of the Year. He capped off the career-defining year with his Grammys performance.
Before his solo career, Harry saw massive success as a member of One Direction. Despite One Direction's international fame, the group was never nominated for a Grammy Award. Harry is the first member of the boy band to be up for a Grammy as a solo artist. His sophomore album Fine Line is up for Best Pop Vocal Album, while his single 'Watermelon Sugar' is up for Best Pop Solo Performance and he's up for Best Music Video for 'Adore You.'
