In an exclusive interview with "The Dan O'Donnell Show" Monday, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson on Monday blasted Democrats and members of the media who claimed he used racist language during an interview last week.

"There's no racism involved in this at all," he said, referring to a statement on "The Joe Pags Show" last week indicating that Johnson was not afraid during the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol but would have been were the rioters with Black Lives Matter or Antifa. "[What I said] had nothing to do with race; it had everything to do with riots. Remember those leftist activists who turn violent--a lot of them are white. You see the pictures on 'Tucker Carlson' and the majority of the these people are white."

Johnson refused to apologize for or back down from his statement, and accused his critics of "playing the race card, like they always do."
