One of the infamous "Penis Man" vandals that has been tagging those two words around the Valley has been sentenced, reported Phoenix New Times.
Dustin Shomer, 39, is a student of the Japanese language, and clearly has some "offbeat political ideas."
Shomer was sentenced to three years of supervised probation. He was ordered to pay $8,000 in restitution for the damages he caused.
According to the terms of a plea deal, If Shomer completes 500 hours of community service, then a deferred, four-month jail stay will be erased from the sentence.
Somer did an interview with Phoenix New Times last year, where he told the news outlet that he wasn't the original "Penis Man." He explained that he wasn't the only one tagging the words on prominent local buildings, but he was the boldest.
The "Penis Man" taggers gained an unexpected following from their ventures in vandalism. A Twitter page popped up called "Penis Man Fans" that tweeted in support of the various paintings across the Valley.
