Kyle Van Noy is coming back to New England.
The veteran linebacker announced he's returning to the New England Patriots after spending just one season with the Miami Dolphins in a video shared on his social media accounts Wednesday (March 17.)
"Pats Nation...I'm back. Let's get it," Van Noy announced in the video.
Van Noy spent four seasons with the Patriots from 2016 to 2019, which included winning two Super Bowls (LI, LIII.) The former BYU standout signed a four-year, $51 million deal with the Miami Dolphins after Super Bowl LIII, but spent just one season with the franchise before being released last week.

Van Noy played both the inside linebacker and edge rusher positions for the Dolphins in 2020, recording 69 tackles and six sacks.
Miami tried to trade Van Noy, but was unsuccessful and instead opted to release him from his contract.
The Patriots signed the linebacker to a two-year contract with a maximum value of $13.2 million, sources confirmed to ESPN.
New England has made several moves addressing its front seven this offseason, which included signing defensive tackle Davon Godchaux, defensive lineman Henry Anderson and outside linebacker Matthew Judon, while also re-signing defensive lineman Deatrich Wise Jr.
The Patriots ranked 26th in the NFL in run defense, allowing an average of 131.4 rushing yards per game, as well as 4.5 yards per carry.
Van Noy joined the Patriots after being acquired via trade from the Detroit Lions, who selected him in the second-round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
