One Kentucky has given a baseball team an ultimatum: cut their mullets or get benched, reported WLKY.
WLKY reached out to the superintendent of the school district after receiving complaints from player's parents.
Meade County Superintendent Mark Martin told the news outlet, "The written ruled for the Meade County Baseball team during the season state that the players' har will be above the ears ad no long hair on the neck."
According to some of the players' parents, several of the players have a mullet. The coaches told the players that they have until March 29th to get a hair cut.
The parent said, "They just said their hair had to be cleaned up trimmed up and presentable. I don't see what gives them the right to decide what kind of hairstyle you choose to have."

According to the parents, some of the students have already gotten haircuts, but others are waiting it out in hopes that the school district will change their minds.
WLKY asked the school district if they thought they may change the rule. They were told that while it is possible, "Meade County schools does not discuss student situations due to privacy laws."
