Chester Bennington would've turned 45 on Saturday (March 20), and though it's sad to think that he's gone, the singer's Linkin Park bandmates encouraged fans to think of the happy times and share their favorite photos and memories to celebrate his birthday.
"Happy Birthday, Chester," they tweeted alongside a collage of lighthearted photos. "Feel free to share your favorite photos/memories below."
The stories came flooding in, from recalling the day Linkin Park became their favorite band to pictures from meet and greets.
"Watching Chester perform Faint at the O2 in July 2017 is still the most euphoric musical moment of my life!" one fan wrote. "The whole arena went absolutely crazy. That voice could go from bat-shit mental screaming to soft and tender in seconds. Happy birthday up there - what a legacy you left x"
"It’s a morning of 2007, I’m eating cereal and watching in the end’s music video before I get ready for school," tweeted another. "As soon as I watched and listened to it, it started to be one of my top 5 favorite songs through out my whole life. One of my regrets is that I never saw him in person."

I was in like 5th grade, putting on One Step Closer every morning as I got ready for school 😂 printing out the lyrics to Papercut and memorizing them during class. Singing Crawling with friends at recess
