Frank Iero's Instagram account has been filled with posts from his recent tour bus roadtrip to Florida to visit his wife's grandpa, but unfortunately he had to take to socials for a somber reason on Monday (March 22): to mourn the death of My Chemical Romance's longtime stage manager Jacob Raggio.
"I’ve been searching for the right words and the perfect photo of you since i heard the awful news last night.... then today i stumbled across this clip that @laurapaggs posted and i began to cry, because it was just perfect and i felt that beautiful glow of your soul peaking through," he wrote alongside a video of Raggio. "Jacob Raggio was such a kind person. Sweet and amazing, talented and hardworking, and everyone that met him loved him. We were so lucky to have known you and spend a little time in your presence. Thank you for being my friend. Until we meet again, Keep the faith"
According to his LinkedIn profile, Raggio worked with MCR from 2006-2011, beginning as a carpenter and working his way up to stage manager and production. During his years in the music industry, Raggio worked with a number of high-profile artists, from My Morning Jacket to Beyonce and Jay-Z. His most recent job entry was Slipknot's stage manager, before the live music industry shut down in March.
